When Chris Pratt tuned in to The White Lotus' premiere, he was ready for a great view of sun-soaked Thailand and the beginnings of yet another murder-mystery.

So imagine his surprise when the biggest talking point of the night was full-frontal nudity, featuring his brother-in-law, Patrick Schwarzenegger. Fortunately, not even the shock can halt Pratt's sense of humor — the actor is already cracking jokes about Patrick's big moment.

"I know where my eyes went," Chris quipped to E! News at the Feb. 24 premiere of his new movie The Electric State. "I’m not blood related to him— I was looking at that d---, bro."

Laughing, he went on to sing Schwarzenegger's praises, adding, "Obviously, he’s a physical specimen, but also he’s a really solid actor, because the character he’s playing is completely different than who he is.”

"He created a character and it feels natural and good," Pratt said of Patrick, the son of The Terminator star and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist Maria Shriver. "I've been watching him, he’s just been working hard… He’s super driven, and I know he gets that from both his mom and his dad."

The third season of Mike White's satirical dramedy sees Schwarzenegger take on the role of Saxon Ratliff, the sex-obsessed first born son of a wealthy family who radiates frat bro energy. Naturally, Saxon doesn't make it through a single episode before dropping his pants for a nude scene, which sees him waltz around his hotel room naked despite the presence of his younger brother, Lochlan (Sam Nivola). The risqué moment caused quite the stir on social media and, apparently, across the Schwarzenegger family.

Shriver told E! that while she also tuned in for the premiere, she didn't let her gaze wander like Pratt.

"I just looked straight into his eyes. That's all I know," she laughed.

The episode was also celebrated by the actor's dad.

Schwarzenegger weighed in after the show's premiere, writing on Instagram, "I was so pumped to take a break from filming to celebrate [Patrick] at the White Lotus Season 3 premiere. What a show! I could claim to be surprised to find out he has a nude scene, but what can I say - the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree."

Patrick is the third child of the Total Recall star and Shriver, a niece of late U.S. President John F. Kennedy. (Pratt wed Patrick's eldest sister, Katherine, in 2019).  He began his acting career early, earning some of his first credits in the David Spade comedy The Benchwarmers, Adam Sandler comedy Grown Ups 2, and the  Ryan Murphy-created series, Scream Queens. He would later appear in episodes of The Boys spinoff Gen V, and the Murphy-produced show, American Sports Story.

Earlier this week, the actor pushed back against claims that he only landed his White Lotus role due to his father's fame, adding, "Of course, it's frustrating and you can get boxed in, and you think at that moment, 'I wish I didn't have my last name.' But that's a small moment. I would never trade my life with anyone. I'm very fortunate to have the life and family that I have, the parents I have, and the lessons and values they've instilled in me."
